This is one of the most challenging commissions that I take. To be honest at the beginning I didn’t like the idea because I really did not like this exploitation of Japanese culture which they never had something like this in their culture. I think this is American stuff, at the beginning I thought it is disrespectful and attack on Japanese samurai, ninja, yakuza cultures and etc. But after I start drawing, making and inking details gave me fun and I am seeing that many artists adopting this style currently, it was an interesting experience for me, I feel like I broke my shell. I will definitely do more like this.
